RETURNS, REFUNDS & REPLACEMENT POLICY

At Future, we aim to ensure that our customers receive the correct products in proper condition.

This Returns, Refunds & Replacement Policy explains the procedures applicable to products purchased through our website.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Egyptian law.

1. General Return Principle

Customers may request a return, replacement or refund in accordance with:

  • Applicable Egyptian consumer protection laws
  • The nature and condition of the product
  • The reason for the return
  • The applicable product warranty
  • The specific terms communicated at the time of purchase

Different rules may apply to standard products, defective products, special-order products, customized products and project supplies.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

Where applicable under Egyptian law, consumers may have the right to return products within the legally prescribed period without providing a reason, subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.

Products returned under a change-of-mind request should, where applicable, be:

  • Unused
  • In their original condition
  • Complete with accessories
  • Complete with manuals and documentation
  • In their original packaging where reasonably required
  • Accompanied by the original invoice or order information

Certain products may be subject to statutory exceptions or special conditions based on their nature.

3. Defective Products

If a product is defective, damaged, or does not conform to the agreed specifications, the customer should contact Future as soon as reasonably possible.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Future may:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Accept the return
  • Refund the applicable amount
  • Provide another legally appropriate remedy

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Order number
  • Invoice
  • Product reference/model
  • Description of the problem
  • Photos or videos
  • Serial number
  • Technical information where relevant

4. Incorrect Product

If Future delivers a product that is different from the product ordered, the customer should contact us promptly.

After verification, Future may arrange:

  • Replacement with the correct product
  • Collection of the incorrect product
  • Refund where appropriate

Where the error is attributable to Future, reasonable return/re-delivery arrangements will be handled by Future.

5. Damaged Products

Customers should inspect shipments upon delivery where reasonably possible.

If a product appears to have been damaged during transportation, customers should:

  1. Document the damage with photographs where possible.
  2. Keep the original packaging.
  3. Notify the delivery representative where applicable.
  4. Contact Future as soon as possible.
  5. Provide the order number and supporting information.

Future will investigate the matter and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the shipment.

6. Products That Have Been Installed or Used

Electrical, electronic, industrial and technical products should not be installed or operated solely for the purpose of testing a change-of-mind return where doing so would alter the product's condition.

Products that have been installed, wired, programmed, commissioned, modified or used may be subject to different return conditions.

This does not affect any mandatory legal rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.

7. Special-Order and Imported Products

Certain products may be purchased specifically for a customer and may not normally be stocked by Future.

Examples may include:

  • Special-order products
  • Imported products
  • Products sourced specifically for a project
  • Non-standard configurations
  • Customized products
  • Products procured according to customer specifications

Because these products may be sourced specifically for the customer, their cancellation, return or refund conditions may differ from standard stocked products.

The applicable terms will be communicated to the customer before confirmation of the order whenever possible and will remain subject to applicable mandatory legal rights.

8. Customized and Configured Products

Products that have been customized, configured, assembled, programmed, modified or manufactured according to customer requirements may be subject to special return conditions.

Examples include:

  • Customized control panels
  • Configured automation systems
  • Special electrical assemblies
  • Customized engineering solutions
  • Products modified according to customer specifications

Where applicable, the specific commercial and technical terms will be stated in the quotation or contract.

Mandatory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products remain applicable.

9. Project and Contracting Orders

Orders supplied under:

  • General contracting agreements
  • Supply contracts
  • Project contracts
  • Purchase orders
  • Tender agreements
  • Engineering agreements
  • Installation contracts
  • Maintenance agreements

may be governed by the terms of the applicable contract or purchase order.

Where a separate written agreement exists, that agreement may establish specific procedures for:

  • Inspection
  • Acceptance
  • Delivery
  • Defects
  • Warranty
  • Replacement
  • Retention
  • Payment
  • Liquidated damages
  • Project completion

10. Warranty

Where a manufacturer warranty applies, Future may assist the customer in processing a warranty claim.

Warranty terms may differ depending on:

  • Manufacturer
  • Product
  • Product category
  • Application
  • Installation conditions
  • Warranty period
  • Local manufacturer/distributor arrangements

Warranty does not normally cover damage caused by:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Incorrect wiring
  • Misuse
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Improper storage
  • Operation outside specifications
  • Physical damage
  • Negligence
  • Improper maintenance

This section does not limit mandatory legal rights applicable to defective products.

11. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, the refund method may depend on the original payment method and applicable payment-provider procedures.

Refund processing may require reasonable administrative and banking processing time.

Where permitted by applicable law, certain transaction or delivery charges may be treated separately depending on the reason for the return.

Future will communicate the applicable refund amount and process to the customer.
